Chamdor, a state of the art manufacturing facility for the Dust-A-Side Product

Dust-A-Side’s relationship with key stakeholder Colas, has led to an effective partnership on various projects.

Dust-A-Side has successfully collaborated with Colas for the additional manufacturing and supply of the company’s Bitumen emulsion by making use of the Colas Chamdor manufacturing plant in Krugersdorp. This state of the art manufacturing facility was identified as a central point in Gauteng.

Streamlining the manufacturing process allows Dust-A-Side to meet the demand of its customers by making it easier to distribute to those situated inland. Dust-A-Side is perfectly positioned with a more market oriented production process assuring seamless delivery of the Dust-A-Side Product.

Manufacturing is performed according to Dust-A-Side specifications and standards. Chamdor is fully equipped to manufacture the Dust-A-Side Product. In order to ensure consistency in the quality of the product delivered to our customers, Dust-A-Side has transferred two quality controllers from the Bethal factory for supervision.

Since this addition, the Bethal factory has been streamlined to manufacture the Dust-A-Side product for Mpumalanga and Mozambique customers. However, most of the non bituminous related products are still manufactured and dispatched from the Bethal manufacturing plant.
